An intriguing demo of light being converted to kinetic energy, the Helios Radiometer is both, a work of science and an object of art. It comes enclosed in a glass bulb with partial vacuum and features four lightweight vanes that are mounted on a central axis. The thermal effects of light causes the vanes to spin, resulting in motion.
